Autonomous Systems

Senior Robotics Integration Engineer — Seraph Systems

Integrate perception, mobility, manipulation and protected mission-compute functions across Seraph Generation 9 configurations.

The role

Build systems that have to work.

Argent’s Seraph Systems team is seeking a senior integration engineer to own cross-subsystem performance on Generation 9 humanoid platforms. You will work at the boundary between controls, perception, power, actuation and mission software, where seemingly small integration decisions become field reliability problems at scale.

What you’ll do

  • Lead hardware/software integration for Seraph G9 mobility, manipulation and sensor subsystems.
  • Design and execute degraded-mode, fault-injection and recovery test campaigns.
  • Partner with production, autonomy and mission-systems teams to disposition integration defects.
  • Translate field observations into configuration updates, acceptance criteria and engineering changes.
  • Support customer demonstrations and limited travel to proving grounds and operational evaluation sites.

Minimum qualifications

  • B.S. in robotics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of robotics, mechatronics or complex electromechanical integration experience.
  • Hands-on experience with real-time controls, actuator systems, sensor timing and hardware-in-the-loop testing.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with humanoid or legged robotics.
  • Experience integrating safety-critical autonomy into fielded hardware.
  • Background with high-power electromechanical systems, ruggedized compute or protected communications.

Mission environment

Work is primarily performed inside secure integration laboratories and test facilities. Periodic proving-ground support may involve extended shifts, protective equipment and work around energized robotic systems.

Compensation & benefits

The estimated U.S. base salary range for this position is $238,000–$312,000. Actual compensation depends on experience, location, role scope and applicable differentials. Eligible employees receive comprehensive health coverage, retirement benefits, paid leave, continuing education support and Argent employee programs.
